Whoa. There are no words to accurately describe seeing your baby on an ultrasound for the first time! Not only that but we got to hear the heartbeat as well! You really get the chance to realize what a miracle you helped create. I've never felt so important before in my life. Not only that but I've never felt as close to Kurt as I did today. We shared one of the best moments possible with each other and with that our love grew.
When we got into our ultra sound room I mentioned to Kurt that I had a camera in case he wanted to take pictures or video. He sort of said 'okay' and shook his head (I always want more pictures!) at me. When the ultra sound tech played the heartbeat along with the baby I told Kurt to get his phone out to record the sound. He immediately ran to my purse and grabbed out my camera to take a video. Best idea ever! We have an amazing video of our baby's heartbeat but we can also see the baby move and the actual (but very very tiny) heart beating! We also came away with 4 great pictures of our little one to cherish until next time. Truly amazing! What a blessed and special day!
