AfterOne of the less pleasant symptoms of pregnancy is insane irritability. Things that are no big deal are easily blown out of proportion and things that are a big deal turn into a torrential downpour of emotion. The worst part of it all - you have absolutely NO control over it!
For some reason I have been extremely irritable this week. Now this usually happens for only a day then I get some good sleep and wake up all chipper and happy. Oh no, not this week. Every day I wake up and the first time someone says something to me I'm instantly pissed. I'm not just pissed, I'm angry, annoyed, short tempered, and irritable! As hard as I try to breathe or calm down or walk away usually I turn into what has now become the Hulk.
It first started the night I was cleaning for Thanksgiving. If you've read the first post you'll recall the chocolate milkshake incident. This was the incident that created the Hulk. Now whenever something really irritates or annoys me I turn from my sweet (hahah), calm, gentle self to this green, steaming, angry beast ripping my clothes and looking for anything that I can destroy! During one of my Hulk phases I told Kurt, in between tears and laughing, that he was SO lucky that his head was still attached to his body. If you've ever gone through this and have a remedy to remain calm, please let me know, because poor Kurt doesn't seem to understand why all of a sudden I'm just pissed off and storming away.
Maybe you have extra testoterone in you because it's a boy!
ReplyDeleteThat's a possibility and what we're hoping for!!
