28 Weeks and Counting!

I am officially in 3rd Trimester!!!! Oh the excitement! It feels really good to have made it this far with a relatively easy pregnancy. Here are some exciting things that Riglee will be doing as she enters the home stretch:

• She now has eye lashes and can blink her eyes
• She may start to see the light that is filtering through my belly
• Neurons are developing rapidly in her brain
• She is still putting on baby fat and should weigh about 2 3/4 lbs and is about the size of a chinese cabbage (where do they come up with these foods to compare?)
• Her lungs should be further developed and she'd have a stronger chance of survival outside of the womb
