Playdate Weekend!

Yes, I recognize I am one of the worst bloggers in the world but I have an excuse (no really, I do). Kurt is out of town and I am playing "single parent" until this Sunday. He goes on a golf trip for like 10 days and normally it was no biggie but it is definitely much different now that we have a baby! So between my job, taking care of Riglee and Thor and housework, I am pretty spent at the end of the day.

Anyhoo, Riglee and I are trying to make the most of our time together. We do lots of stuff like play with her toys, crawl on the floor, eat, sleep (well, kind of) and pretty much just hang out. This past Friday our friends Rachel & Kevin invited us to their house for dinner. They have two daughters, Eva (2.5 years old I believe) and Claira (8 months old), and we went over to hang out. It is so cute to see these three little girls all playing and hanging out. Of course, Riglee was the crabbiest of them all. Eva liked to talk and repeat whatever was said (uh-oh, gotta watch my mouth around that one) and Claira is possibly the most relaxed and smiley baby I've ever met!!! Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pics but next time I will because these girls are CU-UTE!

Saturday and Sunday we were lucky to have Aunt Sara and Bella come over to visit! Riglee and Bells see each other every day so they enjoy playing together. However, Bella always tries to steal toys from Riglee and Riglee is always trying to sit on Bella's lap. Silly girls! I did get to take some pics of these two in action. We laugh b/c they are so much alike and so different at the same time. I am very excited for them to grow up together!
