Many More Milestones

Well well, our little Riglee has been quite a busy girl this month. As you know, Riglee rolled for the first time (although she hasn't rolled since) and last weekend she started giggling at us. She has giggled before, just briefly, at something but it was never a whole-hearted laugh at us. Now we can actually make her laugh and it is pretty much the most adorable sound I've ever heard. She likes it when we sort of fake nibble on her sides under her armpits and she'll laugh at the silly faces and sounds we'll make. It is just so cute! I have to also say how cute it is to watch Kurt trying to make her laugh. There is nothing like watching a grown man start talking baby talk in a high pitched voice to make me fall more in love!

Great day for giggling!

I just love this pouty face...

Last Sunday Riglee's first tooth broke through. I was playing with her and she grabbed my hand and started gnawing on it. I was shocked at how sharp that little sucker was. It was her bottom right tooth that came in. Well, 2 days later her bottom left tooth came in too! So now she has both bottom teeth coming in at the same time. No wonder she had been fussy the week prior at daycare, those 'lil nubbins were pushing their way through her tender gums. I really do feel bad for babies b/c that must just be so dang uncomfortable!

My snugglebunny!

We also have been feeding Riglee rice cereal since Thanksgiving and she just loves it. Last week we (I) decided that we should try feeding her fruit too. She really didn't like the fruit and made the most disgusted face. It was hilarious. Sadly, it didn't sit to well in her tummy and she was a total fussy baby the day after. We've decided to not feed her anymore fruit for at least another month and then give it a try after her tummy has develped a little more. We are still giving her the cereal because she just loves it! She literally grabs my hand with the spoon and dive bombs onto it with her mouth wide open. Even with all her enthusiasm she tends to get the cereal all over the place. It really is just adorable (see exhibit A below).
