I wish I had a legitimate reason as to why I've been totally and completely MIA from this blog but I only have a smattering of excuses. In no particular order, here they are:
- Work has been crazy. I've been looking for a new job while trying to balance additional responsibilities at my current position.
- We are finishing our basement so that Sara (remember her, my sister-in-law) and her adorable daughter Bella can move in with us and have their own space. This means that Kurt is spending evenings and weekends working with our vendors to get things completed and to do as much of it as he can on his own to save some money. This is an exciting development, especially for our daughters, and we are excited to have her finally move in this weekend!
- Riglee. Yes, that kid is now 16 months, almost 17 months and she keeps me so stinkin' busy all.the.time. Now she has all this energy and just wants to play and always wants me to be a part of that. While I wish I could say no, there is no saying no to that sweet girl! Plus, they grow up so fast and I don't want to miss out on the fun! I also realize that is counter-productive to a blog that pretty much revolves around her however I can only juggle so many things!
- I have a food blog and trying to keep up with two blogs is not as easy for me as one would think.
- I picked up a cocktail waitressing shift on Tuesday nights. This means I work around 15 hours on Tuesdays and by the time I get home I am cashed.

| Yes, we fed them lots of chocolate on Halloween which then required a bath to get rid of sticky fingers! |
