And Then There Were Three.....

Well, it's been 2 weeks 3 days of parenthood and I think that so far it's been pretty dang amazing! Are there tough moments? Yes. Are we not getting enough sleep? Yes. Is it all worth it? Absolutely. Kurt and I have been very blessed to have such a perfect, healthy, beautiful daughter. It's amazing how, in an instant, the meaning of family changes and the definition of love has grown into so much more!

This past week was our first week alone as a family since Kurt's mom came and helped out when Kurt had to go back to work. We are still adjusting to our lives revolving around Riglee. Luckily, Riglee has been doing well breastfeeding. Of course, she always seems to be hungry right when I want to make or eat dinner but she generally eats every 2-3 hours which is normal from what I'm told. She has also allowed me to get a little sleep at night which I am eternally grateful for. I personally think the hardest part of parenthood is not understanding what she needs at all time...but I think I'm starting to get better at it. In the meantime, we are enjoying each other's company and figuring out how to be parents!
