Baby Furniture Ordered!!

Woo hoo!!!! We made our first big baby purchase yesterday, we bought the crib and dresser/changing table. My mother-in-law, Mary, had an amazing coupon for $150 off the purchase of 2 furniture items at Babys R Us. Kurt and I went yesterday to see if we found anything we liked and boy did we ever! We liked them all, haha!

We decided that we wanted a convertible crib that we can use as a toddler bed and later turn into a full size bed. We want this to be something that she can use for a long time to come. I knew that I didn't want a separate changing table but wanted to use a dresser that doubles as a changing table. The set we found was perfect! It was not too feminine or too masculine and once we saw it we knew it'd be perfect for our little girl. We decided on the Palisades Collection. The maker of this crib set got great reviews in Baby Bargains (which is the new mom's bible for brand ratings and must-have products) and it is exactly what we were looking for. Luckily we could use our $150 off coupon. When we went to pay we found out that we could save an additional 15% if we opened a Babys R Us card and put it on there. So we took advantage of the extra discount knowing that we plan to pay it off right away. In total, we got the crib set we wanted and saved $260 in the process! I love bargain shopping!!
